Dr. Maryam Saeed
Dr. Maryam Saeed is a distinguished scholar and industry expert in Islamic Banking, Finance, and Insurtech. She holds a PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance, with her thesis titled “Striving for Higher Insurtech Penetration in Pakistan: Challenges and Solutions.” Her research has significantly contributed to understanding the evolving landscape of Insurtech and its impact on financial inclusion.
She earned a BBA (Hons) and an MSBA, both with a major in Human Resource Management (HRM). Her MSBA thesis, “Mediation Effect of Psychological Contract Between Big Five Personality Dimensions and Turnover Intention,” was published in the prestigious X-category UK journal – Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Science.
With over 20 research articles published in leading local and international journals on Insurtech, Dr. Saeed continues to shape the industry through her insights and expertise.
Beyond academia, she has diversified her skill set with a six-month Artificial Intelligence course from UET University, along with a one-year diploma in IT. She also holds certifications in Graphic Designing, Content Writing, SEO, Digital Marketing, and English Language from the British Education System.
Her professional experience includes serving as an HR Officer at SNGPL, Dean Assistant at Kinnaird College, and Assistant in the Government Tourism Department. With a deep passion for researching Insurtech and providing training to the insurance sector, she is committed to bridging the gap between technology and traditional insurance models.
